ASBIS group takes over audio distributor in the Czech Republic

Limassol, Cyprus. 1 October 2025. ASBIS Group (WSE: ASB) - a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), has acquired 100% of the shares of CPT Praha, a significant distributor of premium audio products in the Czech Republic. The purchase price amounted to USD 600,000, corresponding to the value of the acquired inventory. The acquiring party was a Czech company from the ASBIS Group – ASBIS CZ, and the transaction was completed with the company’s own funds.

The acquisition of CPT Praha is a natural step in the strategy to strengthen the Group's position in the consumer electronics sector, especially in the category of premium audio devices that are in high demand. Thanks to this acquisition, ASBIS CZ will become one of the leading audio distributors in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Founded in 1991, CPT Praha is a recognized distributor in the Czech Republic specializing in premium audio products. With a rich portfolio of globally recognized brands such as ONKYO, KLIPSCH, JAMO, and TEAC, CPT Praha has built a strong market presence in the Czech and Slovak markets.

"ASBIS is one of the significant IT and consumer electronics distributors in the Czech Republic, and the company itself is growing very well. The acquisition of CPT Praha will significantly strengthen the market position of ASBIS CZ in the consumer electronics sector, particularly in the category of high-demand audio products. Therefore, it fits perfectly with the development of this company," said Jozef Hegyi, Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at ASBIS Group.
