ASBIS picks up two channel awards in the Middle East

ASBIS Middle East, a subsidiary of the ASBISC Enterprises PLC (WSE: ASB), has won the “Retail Distributor of the Year” for the second year running and “Mobile Solutions Vendor of the Year” at the annual “Channel ME Awards 2014” took place on March 24, 2014 at the Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort and Spa hotel in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

The “Mobile Solutions Vendor of the Year” award was scooped by ASBIS Middle East due to its regional leadership and strong market presence with mobile devices and solutions under own ASBIS trademark Prestigio.

The seventh annual “Channel ME Awards 2014”, held alongside with a gala dinner, attracted over 360 IT leaders from the vendor, distributor, reseller, and retailer community across the Middle East region, to be honored for their accomplishments and dedication over the last 12 months. Twenty awards were presented. The substantial effort and contribution to the development of the Middle East IT channel sector allowed ASBIS to become a winner in the “Retail Distributor of the Year” category for the second successive year.
