ASBIS Middle East, a subsidiary of the ASBISC Enterprises PLC (WSE: ASB), became the “Peripherals Distributor of the Year” winner at the annual ‘Channel ME Awards’ ceremony held at the InterContinental Hotel, Festival City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on March 26, 2015.
The eighth edition of the annual “Channel ME Awards”, held alongside with a gala dinner, attracted over 380 IT leaders from the vendor, distributor, reseller, and retailer communities across the Middle East region.
ASBIS Middle East, among others, was honored for its accomplishments and dedication to the development of the regional channel over the last 12 months. The national IT industry acknowledged ASBIS as the major contributor to the peripheral distribution business on the Middle East market in 2015.
The ‘Channel Middle East Awards’ recognize excellence throughout the regional IT supply chain, celebrating achievements of resellers, distributors and vendors. First held in 2008, the event has grown to become the must-attend networking event for the IT channel. Today, it attracts more than 300 senior executives from across the Gulf.
