ASBISC ENTERPRISES PLC, a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), according to the preliminary estimations, in January 2023 had consolidated revenues at the level of approx. USD 222 million, compared to USD 242 million in January 2022, a decrease of approx. 8%. January 2022 was a month of very high, record-breaking January sales in the history of the Group.
Costas Tziamalis, Deputy CEO of ASBIS Group,commented: “We are very pleased with the revenues generated in January 2023. Last year's January was a record January in our history in terms of revenues and it included the former biggest market of ours thus a very high comparative base. It is clear that, despite a significant reduction in revenues in sanctioned countries, and in Ukraine, our revenues are very close to a similar level. We consider this as a big achievement. We are very confident that ASBIS focuses will start showing growth on revenues before the end of the quarter.”
Costas Tziamalis added:“When it comes to our sales in January 2023, Kazakhstan was the clear leader in sales, followed by Ukraine, UAE and Slovakia. The best-selling product categories in January were: smartphones, processors and servers, whose sales showed good dynamics compared to January 2022".
