In Johannesburg, thanks to the growing demand in South Africa and neighboring countries, the company moved to a larger warehouse and increased its warehouse space from 500 m2 to 3,000 m2. This strategic move not only strengthened the African distribution center's ability to meet ongoing customer orders, but also attracted the attention of leading suppliers seeking partnerships with the company.
In Prague, ASBIS expanded its main distribution center by 3,000 m2, increasing the total warehouse space to 13,000 m2. The increase in space was the result of growing sales, which resulted in a 30% increase in warehouse orders year-on-year.
Additionally, apart from the main distribution centers, each of the ASBIS subsidiaries has its own warehouse space, ensuring continuity of current deliveries to customers.
Siarhei Kostevitch, CEO of ASBIS Group, commented: “ASBIS is already a company that generates annual revenues of USD 3 billion. Recent geopolitical changes have motivated us even more not only to further develop our operations in existing markets, but also to enter new markets and new product segments. Therefore, the development of storage and warehousing areas is of extreme importance to us. Because of our vast distribution and logistics expertise, we are able to supply our customers in a very short time. New warehouse space will allow us to further develop our operations in Africa and the Central and Eastern European region, including Poland”.
