ASBIS Group (WSE: ASB) - a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), according to preliminary estimates, in June 2024 had consolidated revenues at the level of approx. USD 226 million, compared to USD 267 million in June 2023, a decrease of approx. 15%.
Analyzing revenues from June 2024, the very high comparative base from last year should be taken into account. When comparing June 2024 with previous successful years, this year’s result was higher by almost 10% from June 2022.
Siarhei Kostevitch, CEO of ASBIS Group, commented: “In our opinion, given the extremely tough major markets conditions June was a month of quite stable sales, although of course its results were overshadowed by a very high comparative base from last year. What is important to us is that our sales have prospects for further growth in the coming months, which is also reflected in our financial forecast. The countries with the highest sales impact in June were our main markets; Kazakhstan and Ukraine. On the flip of the coin, the United Arab Emirates and Poland, were the countries with the highest monthly sales dynamics giving us strong positive signals for the periods to come. With the addon of revenues from South African markets, we consider our forecast well achievable.”
Siarhei Kostevitch, added: "Looking at product categories, the most popular in June were smartphones, processors, servers and laptops”.
