ASBIS Group (WSE: ASB) - a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), according to preliminary estimates, in March 2024 had consolidated revenues at the level of approx. USD 252 million, compared to USD 269 million in March 2023, a decrease of approx. 6%. March 2024 also showed about 7% improvement in revenues, compared to February 2024.
Siarhei Kostevitch, CEO of ASBIS Group, commented: "Last year's March was a record-breaking month in terms of sales in our over 30-year history, which is why we faced a very high comparison base this month. In addition, in March, significant oversupply of products from sources other than official ones in multiple main markets of ours have caused a bit lower-than-expected sales. In Ukraine due to intensified military activities, had a negative impact on sales. We had already been addressing all issues and we move on with confidence that the growth will follow in the coming months. Throughout our history we always set ourselves ambitious goals and this year will not be an exception.”
Siarhei Kostevitch,added: "We are working on the financial forecast for 2024, but I can already say that we will achieve higher sales dynamics in the second half of the year compared to the first few months.
