JANUARY 2019 IN LINE WITH COMPANY’S EXPECTATIONS

ASBISc Enterprises Plc, a leading distributor of IT products on emerging markets of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to the preliminary estimations, in January 2019 had consolidated revenues at the level of approx. USD 117 million, compared to USD 163 million in January 2018, which is a decrease by approx. 28%. 

Siarhei Kostevitch, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors ASBISc Enterprises Plc, commented: “The first half of last year  was a record one in our history. The current year promises to be again an interesting one and we believe a successful one. We however need to take several factors into account. January 2019 was in line with our expectations. The first quarter of last year was boosted significantly by the revenue of VGA cards, connected with blockchain/mining technology which is not repetitive this year. In addition to that all big datacenter project business happened during the first two months. This year we do expect such big orders to materialize at a later stage. Another important factor of the lower revenues during January was the continued decline of the smartphone markets. Throughout the company’s existence and history, revenue has never been an issue to ASBIS. We have the ability to adjust to lower or higher revenues when needed, however we are in a very comfortable position to be able to control the quality of our revenues”
