ASBIS publishes revenues for September 2024

ASBIS Group (WSE: ASB) - a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), according to preliminary estimates, in September 2024 had consolidated revenues at the level of approx. USD 267 million, compared to USD 304 million in September 2023, which means that they were lower by about 12% compared to last year.

Serhei Kostevitch, CEO of ASBIS Group, commented:Last year’s September was the best September in terms of sales in our entire over 30-year history. Despite all challenges faced, our September revenues were the highest of all precedent months of the year. The negative impact of the new realities in Kazakhstan, the continuation of the war in Ukraine and the escalations in Middle East area are the key issues we are currently weathering. Moreover, the anticipated debut of the new Apple products were not impacting our revenues since they were only debuted in our markets on the turn of September and October and in October thus we expect to see a greater impact in November and December.

The countries with the highest revenues in September were Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and the United Arab Emirates. Sales in Poland remained at a very high level, with the Polish subsidiary achieving an impressive sales increase of over 60% compared to the same month last year.

“We are analyzing our sales in terms of the published financial forecast for this year. As we know, several assumptions in that forecast did not materialize, but we are still working hard to achieve it. We hope that the results of October's sales, which will also include the sales of the new iPhone model, will give us a clearer picture” added Serhei Kostevitch.
