Toshiba Europe announced the new scheme of distribution of the products sold in Romania. The well-known Japanese electronics manufacturer is currently offering its portfolios of laptops, tablets and televisions in this Eastern European country. The distribution of consumer laptops and tablets will be conducted from January by ASBIS Romania.
Toshiba said it is one of the leading local players on the segment of laptops which is estimated at about 520,000 units in 2015 by the company. Its market share on this segment is currently 10-11 percent.
Toshiba aims to strengthen its sales of equipments from the consumer PC segment and sales of Windows 8 tablets and TVs, where it aims to increase by 40-50 percent compared to 2014.
