ASBIS GAINES GOOD REVENUES IN DECEMBER AND MEETS FORECAST

PRESS RELEASE - 23 January 2023; Limassol, Cyprus, and Warsaw, Poland

ASBISc Enterprises Plc, a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), according to the preliminary estimations, in December 2022 had consolidated revenues at the level of approx. USD 303 million, compared to USD 396 million in December 2021, which means that the company met the increased financial forecast for 2022 at the revenue level.

On November 7, 2022, ASBIS raised its financial forecast for 2022. According to the new forecast, revenues should be in the range of USD 2.6 billion to USD 2.8 billion, and net profit after tax between USD 70 million and USD 74 million. 

Costas Tziamalis, Deputy CEO of ASBIS Group, commented: “ASBIS is implementing its plans, so we are pleased to announce that our financial forecast at the level of revenues has been met. We are in the process of closing 2022, and we are very confident about the implementation of the forecast at the level of net profit. We have already started 2023, in which we anticipate growth, especially since we are strongly developing our presence on promising  markets and starting operations in Africa, which we are also optimistic about.” 

Costas Tziamalis added: “When it comes to our sales in December, Kazakhstan was the clear leader in sales, followed by Ukraine, Slovakia and UAE. The best-selling product category in December was smartphones, processors, laptops and accessories.”
