ASBISc Enterprises Plc, a leading distributor of IT products on emerging markets of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and producer of brands: Prestigio, Canyon and Perenio, has become the official distributor of TCL and has exclusive rights to distribution of the company's headphones and headsets in 12 countries: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. Thus, ASBIS strengthens its leading position in these markets. This is the first contract signed with TCL, it was concluded for one year, with the possibility of its extension.
As part of the contract, ASBIS will distribute both wired and wireless headphones, including true-wireless and noise-canceling models.
TCL was founded almost 40 years ago and over the years has become one of the largest producers of consumer electronics in the world. TCL Electronics currently ranks 2nd in the world in terms of TV production. The Group employs over 75,000 employees worldwide, has 28 research and development laboratories and 22 production plants, including in Poland.
Siarhei Kostevitch, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ASBISc Enterprises Plc, commented: "ASBIS is currently developing in three directions - as an IT distributor, manufacturer of IT equipment and accessories, and as the developer and supplier of technologically advanced IT solutions, IoT and AI. Distribution is still our core business, which we develop together with other sectors. That is why we are still looking for the best solutions in this field. An agreement with such a global giant as TCL will significantly strengthen our dominant position in 12 markets. Thanks to this agreement, our product portfolio has been expanded to include the products of another global brand, which will give our customers more shopping opportunities, contributing to the further development of ASBIS's operations. I am also glad that we are starting our cooperation with TCL from accessories that usually have higher margins than computers or laptops, which confirms our efforts to increase margins".
