We did this in a  tough market environment where geopolitical unrest has already arisen. At this point, I would like to emphasize, that ASBIS has taken all possible measures to protect its interests in both countries – Russia and Ukraine. We have managed to hedge ourselves to a full extend, we are in a position to secure our receivables and we are we have the best communication with suppliers to ensure alignment of actions. Our sales in both countries are very good, even in potentially conflict areas. In Ukraine alone, ASBIS sales in January 2022 doubled compared to last year's January.

Costas Tziamalis added: “The best-selling products in January 2022 were smartphones, processors and laptops. When it comes to countries, we recorded the highest sales in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.”
