ASBISc Enterprises Plc, a leading distributor of IT products on emerging markets of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and producer of brands: Prestigio, Canyon, Perenio and Atlantech, according to preliminary estimations, in August 2019 had consolidated revenues at the level of approx. USD 158 million, as compared to USD 188 million in August 2018. Estimated revenues generated in August 2019 were over 14% higher than revenues generated in July 2019, when they amounted to approx. USD 138 million. ASBIS revenues are in line with Company's expectations.
Siarhei Kostevitch, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ASBISc Enterprises Plc, commented: “August was a better month for ASBIS in terms of revenues when compared to July, which is in line with our expectations. For us, however, what we develop in the long perspective are more important. Therefore, at present it is significant for us to work on the implementation of our strategic focus areas, i.e. the development of the product portfolio of our own brands and strengthening of ASBIS competences in sectors that are promising, i.e. solutions and IT services for corporate clients. According to our expectations, this will increase margins, which is rather difficult when working only in the traditional IT distribution portfolio.
